Victoria Hoffmann is a fall 2025 editorial intern at the Monitor embedded with the national desk.
Before joining the Monitor, Victoria had reported for newsrooms across Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts on political, educational, and investigative stories. Her most recent endeavor was teaching journalism as a newsroom editor to Boston youth on behalf of the Boston Public School system for Word Powered’s Summer Journalism Institute.
Victoria graduated from Emerson College in May of 2025 with a B.S. in journalism with minors in pre-law, political science, sociology, and anthropology. At Emerson, she founded Green Magazine, an environmental publication. During her tenure, she managed a 50-person staff and established five editorial teams, an executive board, and a syllabus for staff to earn academic credit. In her final year, Green Magazine was awarded “Best Overall Publication” and “Advancements in Sustainability.”
Victoria is from Milford, Pennsylvania, but currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
